Origin

Hot Cross Buns Originated as the Alban Bun in 1361 by Brother Rocliffe to be distributed to the poor at the doors of St Albans Cathedral at Easter.

The Alban Bun Foundation is an initiative started in 2022 to globally distribute buns to help the hungry all year round.

We hope to obtain discount codes for hot cross buns from the world's supermarket networks, to help and encourage their purchase and distribution to the hungry.
